Jamie Oliver Chicken Nuggets are bite-sized pieces of chicken breast or thigh coated in seasoned breadcrumbs and cooked until golden and crispy. They are simple, homemade alternatives to fast-food nuggets.
Cut chicken into evenly sized bite-sized pieces for consistent cooking.
Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a third bowl.
Dip each chicken piece first in flour, then in egg, and finally coat in breadcrumbs. Press gently so crumbs stick well.
For baking, preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Place nuggets on a lined tray and drizzle lightly with olive oil.
For frying, heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Bake for 18–22 minutes, turning halfway, until golden and cooked through.
If frying, cook for 3–4 minutes per side until crispy and fully cooked.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
