Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F). A properly heated oven helps the pastry become golden and crisp.

Step 2: Prepare the Apples

Peel, core, and slice the apples into thin pieces. Uniform slices cook evenly and create a better filling texture.

Step 3: Cook the Apples Briefly

Place the apples, butter, and sugar in a pan over medium heat. Cook for 5–7 minutes until the apples begin to soften slightly and release their natural juices.

Step 4: Prepare the Pie Dish

Lightly grease a pie dish and place the apple mixture inside, spreading it evenly.

Step 5: Cover with Pastry
